Kevin

In just 3 posts you, Tom and Richard managed to repeat each other's
messages whole and increased the size of your simple 13 line reply to
74 lines. It would only need one of you to cut this escalation off and
decrease the size.

A number of people have asked to control extraneous quotes because
they do not have good internet access and bandwidth is an issue.

I know it has become a corporate american habit to maintain a trail
like this because the extra cost is zero with a broadband connection.
Unlimited broadband is never likely to be available to some people
that might benefit from this list. In just the same way that most
people can never have the american way of life, is this another case
of "the devil take the hindmost"?

Can any of you give me a reason for continuing to quote whole messages
when it is a consensus policy to be brief?

Andrew Heggie ( on unlimited broadband!)
