Greetings,
I have limited knowledge on these things, and will stand back to allow the
more knowledgeable members to go ahead.
Just one question needs to be clarified in my mind, the word "tar". Is one
referring to heavy hydrocarbon oils, as found in coal and crude oil,( known
as bitumen ) OR the residue that condenses on cool surfaces as a result of
incomplete combustion of organic substances ?
I believe that there might be a link between them, but would rather leave
this one in the hands of someone like Philip Lloyd.
I am looking forward to learning from this one.
John Davies,
Secunda
