I was in the Philippines earlier this month visiting our partners. We have
been working with Sustainable Rural Enterprises and Aklan State University
to build and distribute the Mayon Turbo Stove in the Philippines.

SRE and ASU just completed a world bank funded project to distribute MTS
stoves. REAP-Canada has sourced some modest funding to continue funding
their programs. Expect production and distribution to be available again in

Roger Samson has a stove operating on rice hulls in production in the
Philippines, as far as I know.

I tested one here in Waterloo. It is a gasifier.  Works too.

the Stoves Listserve (focused on cookstoves but not specifically on
gasification) and to Prof. Alexis Belonio of the Philippines.  Alexis is the
only person (that I know of) with a functional residential-size cookstove
that
operates on rice hulls.  He is in Iloilo (misspelled).  He is a wonderful
person and will probably be able to assist you.  The other side of the 
question
is if you will be able to assist him in getting his products onto the 
markets. We hope that this is the beginning of a mutual success story.
