Very interesting.
The danger posited is that carbon tubes that are about the same length as
fine asbestos dust create the same reactions - about 20 nanometers I recall.
The result is asbestosis-like symptoms
It is known that Buckyballs can pass through cell walls without damaging
them so they might get up to mischief inside.
It will be interesting to find out which stoves and fuels might create
'carbon-based asbestosis'.

You can certainly get buckyballs off a wick stove - so tubes there may be
too. I think Primus/pressure stoves may be different, because their
temperature is somewhat higher and their unburned fraction lower.
