[Stoves] Info regarding nitrogen content in char

Greetings stovers
Just trying to get as much info from the pressed biomass from Richard
and Jeff for those interested. For the people thinking about using char
in the soil I thought you might be interested in the nitrogen values
remaining in the char and compared to the nitrogen at the start. They
are in percent but if you move the decibel point four places to the
right you will have in mg/kg (PPM). About 100 ppm available N in the
soil is good for plants. So 0.16% = 1600 ppm nitrogen. I think it is
available ammonia or still in protein form but have not looked into
that. The values were higher than I thought they would be.
These samples have been and still being tested(?) by Rok so we are
getting our monies worth from them. I have pics of the samples to go
along with the identification for those with high speed Internet and
interested.
