[Strawbale] leather uses

Leather is flesh though, just try throwing skin at a vegatarian and it might 
as well be meat.
While leather may not make the ideal building block, I think the question 
would be whether any use can come to these already baled leather scraps.  
Further manufacturing processes may not be desirable nor may the quantity be 
suitable in this case.  I couldn't say.  Definately look into it.
As to the leather bales holding up to critters, I don't think that would be 
a problem.  They have dug up Roman leather boots in England that have been 
buried for ages.  The leather lasted that long under soil so I'm pretty 
confident that a shoe maker could build a couple houses.  But would it 
insulate well, are there air pockets?  Are ther better uses for it?  Too bad 
it's toxic because there would be alot more option available.  good luck
