[Strawbale] Pex supply lines in SB walls?

Pex lines in plastic conduit?  That would make it kind of 
redundant?  Having some history with pex, I would not 
hesitate to run it in the walls, but keep the fittings or 
terminations outside of the walls.  Place them in access 
boxes or outside the walls in the fixtures they serve. 
 Are the pex lines serving fixtures or for heating?
