Leanne,

Here's an interior photo showing window benches. Small part of an
interior photo, the benches rap around a wall and under a curved
window, in the upper photo on this page, left hand side of the photo.
.... http://www.livingsol.com/

These were very dense bales, four of them, added to the
under-window-bales that were there anyways. Creates about eight feet or
more of bench. The owners' now have cushions, and since the bales were
special cut for the job, to thirteen inches *before* plastering, the
height is just right.

Constructed and bound tightly with Cinteflex nylon plastering mesh, and
covered with three coats, of specially cement-ie and lime plaster, mesh
was also placed inside of second coat, to reinforce. Total thickness,
about 1 1/2 to 2 inches.

I've noticed a few different ways to make window seats. ........
Thanks,
Leanne
