[Strawbale] lightning and one foot standing

There is such things as step potential. where your two feet can be at
different voltages so that the difference is lethal. I doubt that is the
main concern with a lightning strike, but it's possible. More of an issue in
power distrubution at high voltages where when something goes wrong, things
are designed to keep the whole person at the same voltage potential, so
maybe current won't flow through them. And if the person in danger can't
stand still and be protected by the design of the equipment, he better run
so fast only one foot touches the ground at a time.

In electrical storm situations, I always heard to squat in a depression or
ditch on the balls of your feet as much as possible, and to do this
immediately if you feel electric charge building up around you. (and the
part no one needs to add is to put your head between your legs and kiss your
a** goodby.)
