Why is bamboo the common material used for pinning? We are doing some vertical pinning to help strengthen/stabilize the walls. What would be wrong with using lumber that we have on hand? The only thing I could think of was that bamboo, being round, would suck into the bales better than a 1x2 would. Just wondering. Leanne
