[Strawbale] where can I buy Type N Lime?

I wonder why you would choose Type N lime, rather than Type S. In any
case, you will need a lot of whatever plaster material you use, so
finding a local source would minimize transportation issues. Where in
SC are you located? (I'm guessing that this is South Carolina, but
since this is an international list, I could be wrong). Contacting
local masonry suppliers, building centers, or plasterers might help you
identify a source. A Google search on "South Carolina lime" turns up
many possibilities. The National Lime Association web site
<http://www.lime.org/faqs.html> has lots of information, including
links to suppliers by state.

There are many people on this list who have experience with lime
plaster and strawbale. I suspect that you will get several responses,
so I will stop here for now.
