[Strawbale] Living Roof on SB

Heidi asked "Anyone built a living roof yet?"

We put a living roof on our lb strawbale powerhouse, and followed pretty
closely Speireag Alden Macdonald's wonderfully complete details, with broad
fascia boards, a good membrane, layers of straw and compost, and a planting
of various purloined sedums (ours, not Speireag's).  He may have a file set
up on the Yahoo SB R Us list.  Perhaps he'll pick up this thread.  In any
case, I've emailed you my notes off list.
