[Strawbale] Loan Oak in Nebraska History Volume 87

Dear SB:

David Murphy of the Nebraska State Historical Society just sent me a 
complimentary copy of the  Nebraska History Volume 87 / Number 1 / 
Spring 2006 issue in which the Loan Oak is written about in two separate 
articles. One highlighting the 1946 construction of the two story straw 
bale building located just west of Lincoln Nebraska in Emerald. Other 
straw bale buildings are discussed in the article. The PS of the issue 
includes Pilgrim Holiness Church in Arthur NE, constructed of rye straw 
bales in about 1927-1928. This issue should be available from this site:
