Thanks Vint,
Just talked to my sweetie and apparently earth plaster isn't on our agenda. She doesn't care for the faint odor she picks up at a friend's house. The manufactures rep said the only way to assure no odor or slight chalking is to seal the material and we can't do that unless we want to lose vapor flow. Her concerns are probably not an issue for most people. However after 25 years living with my sweetheart I've learned when to stop trying to apply logic or objective information to a situation and accept that we're not going to do something, you know "when mama's happy everybody's happy."
So off to the world of lime plaster we are going. She'd like a nice soft finish rather than a hard one. Any tips, techniques, things to avoid, etc that anyone would care to share? Thanks.
