Then it appears that I have left some information out that changes 
that statement.  My workshop is not what most people would think of 
when the word "workshop" is used.  My workshop is *very* close to a 
house in its construction and use.  I also have a brewery in the 
workshop which is used frequently, and generates quite a bit of 
steam.  The workshop is kept at comfortable temperatures (heated to 
62F in winter, cooled to 75F in summer) year round.

It is used at least 4 hours a day during the week, and up to 12 hours 
a day on the weekends when projects keep me in there.  So, I believe 
that my workshop is much closer to a house than one would imagine.
