[Strawbale] Cool storage room

     Let me ask this a bit differently.    Our present house plan has a cool 
storage room in the NW corner of the first floor, with dirt berm outside the N 
and W walls, dirt underneath (ie, no basement there, partial basement 
elsewhere) and insulated walls on the two, S and E, interior walls.

     Can anyone tell me how cool such a room would be compared to the same 
room in the same corner of the house but in the basement?
