[Strawbale] PEX tubing in floors

Shody,

I cannot understand why you'd want to put a loop in a hallway, since
you are in them so briefly. Of course, if you design properly you will
have an absolute minimum of hallways to begin with!

Hydronic heat responds very slowly, which is usually not what you are
after for isolated areas like that. Heat for a bathroom is generally
something you want to have for a brief time on a somewhat
unpredictable basis. Thus, you may be better served with another
solution there.

Why would you have "large polar-facing windows"? Even in cases where
you have a particularly good view on that side of the house, you can
often gain much by making your windows smaller and more carefully
placed.

As for wood pellet or corn cob burners, I'm afraid I cannot help as I
have no clue. We don't generally need those things in Texas!
