[Strawbale] Window bucks and Roman shades

I had an idea with regards to how to allow Roman shades to completely 
be within the window buck and still not obscure the window.  If I 
assume that the Roman shade will take up 1 foot of height when 
raised, then I could make the window buck one foot higher than the 
height of the window, fill in the top one foot with a false front, 
insulated inside and then the Roman shade would only cover the false 
front, not the window when it was rolled up?  Any comments?
