On my workshop, I used HardiBoard as soffits, but did not know about
Hardi Fascia. I covered my fascia in custom bent aluminum gutter
material over standard 2"x8" fascia boards. If Hardi Fascia is
available, it might save me a lot of money in the long run when I
build the house. I just looked at their website, and they do make
it, listed under HardiTrim Planks. The soffit material is *much*
cooler that what I used, which was just the flat board. The built in
venting will save me lots of work.

Thanks for this idea. It will save me a lot of work and money.
