[Strawbale] attaching bales to independent timber frame

We are designing our 2 storey strawbale house with an external structural 
post and beam frame that is completely independent of the bale walls. The 
posts are 6 inches away from the outside of the bales. The bales are 
attached to window and door bucks that go from toe-up to roof within the 
walls, but does anyone have any idea how to (or if we need to) connect the 
walls to the structural frame at regular intervals, to give the walls more 
stability?
