Hi Shody,
We have welded vinyl sheets over ext. ply decks.... the sheets are textured
and colored and very tough... I had cut a long strip off the roll and wanted
to tear the last 1/2 inch and couldn't do it!! Some is glass reinforced
The specialists come out and hot air weld the stuff and roll the seams down.
They have special materials for difficult corners, etc.. and can weld to
vinyl clad galv. metal for flashing, gutters, etc... Some of ours is 8
years old already and still looks new... much better that the old cold
process roofing, and the hot mop we had after that.
