Ah, okay. Thanks for that Ned.

I like the Skillful Meany's solution for that (even if he didn't intend  
for it to be a solution to the problem)... "mayonnaise" at every course.

In addition to helping in a small way to physically stabilise the bale  
wall in a somewhat similar fashion that mortar helps to stabilise a  
masonry wall, it breaks the column of straw that is the height of the wall  
into smaller cells to give air less of a runway to get accelerate... and  
that's a Good Thing IMO.
