Thank you for the trade secrets from your trade. I'm torn between
some of the things you mentioned. Yes, if someone is wanting to be a
mason then an apprenticeship is definitely the best way to go.
However when a person is pushing 60 they aren't able to put in a full
day on a job site. Well, I'm in the latter group. I love working with
stone and am putting a stone face on the lower level of our home. I
have looked for community college courses on masonry but the only
ones I can find are full blown apprenticeship courses. That's why it
is so nice to find someone like yourself that is willing to share the
trade with those of us who are DIY handymen (handy-person).
