Are you considering building cabnets from scratch if
you could find the right material?
What state or country are you in?
In some areas, you might be able to contact a tree
trimmer for low cost wood.
Counter tops might be able to be made of cob with
Water Glass, like concrete but more environmentally
sustainable. Perhaps, someone knows about cob counter
tops.
There is a new bamboo plywood out. The one I saw seems
to be very high quality; without any possibilty of
splinters. It is made into fibers and mixed with PVAc
laminate glue. Does anyone know if PVAc is toxic,
off-gasses, or is sustainable?
Have you found a source of wheatboard? If so, would
you post a web address?

Cheers,
Shody
