[Strawbale] Vapor Barrier (was: Pressure-treated Wood Foundations ( PWF) )

As I understand it, polyethylene fabric house rap is
supposed to be vapor permeable and moisture not
permeable, so that doesn't seem like it would work
well either; vapor goes in and the outside temperature
drops and we have moisture trapped in the wall until
it becomes a vapor and passes through the membrane, if
there is a force that makes it do that other than just
being a vapor.
