[Strawbale] [ADMIN] Periodic reminder of list etiquette

Please take time to read this thoroughly.  The incidence of people 
not adhering to these guidelines has recently gone way up.  Mostly in 
not taking the time to edit a reply.

List Etiquette
==============

1) When replying to posts, take the time to edit the included text
from previous posts so that only enough remains to establish a context
for understanding of your reply.  Especially take time to edit out the
bottom banner put on every post by the list server.  There are many
subscribers that have very slow connections, or pay to download every
Email by the minute.  Please be courteous to the other members of our
community.

2) When replying to the daily digest, change the subject so that it is
meaningful (NOT Re:  Digest #1234).

3) If you receive the list in digest mode, PLEASE don't copy the
whole digest back to the list.  Everyone has already seen all the
messages it contains.  Take time to edit before sending.

4) When changing content, take time to change the subject.
         Re:  Burned homes (was: radiant heating)
Many people can preview messages and not download ones which do not
interest them.  Without a subject which matches the content, this
does not work well.

5) Stay on topic.  This list is for discussion of straw bale building
and related green building techniques that might conceivably be used
in straw bale building.
