[Strawbale] what's wrong with chicken wire?

What's wrong with chicken wire?  Doug
 
 
Doug:  We originally planned on using chicken wire, but found that  welded 
wire mesh is better.  The reason is that 2x2 welded wire mesh is  approved by 
building codes for HUD.  If anything else is used, it can  compromise the 
engineering (my hubby dictated this while I'm typing...)   The wire has been 
ordered, and is being shipped next week.
