[Strawbale] concrete floor vs. wood floor

Hi everyone:  We'll be putting in a concrete floor for our SB house,  as it 
will have radiant floor heat.  We'll be heating it with 2 solar hot  water 
panels (which are very heavy!)  I hope our neighbor can help us get  them on the 
roof when it's time!  We'll have a back-up propane on-demand  hot water heater 
as an assist, and also for domestic hot water usage.  If  we weren't going to 
have radiant floor heat, we'd put in wood floors.   We'll be doing acid-stain 
on the floor, and scoring it into faux tiles.   Has anyone ever done this 
here?  I'd love to hear/see your results.
