[Strawbale] moisture control

I'd recommend having a pan under the washing machine to catch any 
overflow or leaks. These should be plumbed into the waste lines like one 
would plumb a shower stall pan.

Make sure the washing machine drain hose isn't touching the concrete 
floor, if you have one: the hose will vibrate as time passes and rub 
against the concrete. Eventually it will leak: this happened to a friend 
of mine's machine recently. Fortunately she discovered it while it was 
just a tiny leak.
