[snip] ... if you hear of anyone wanting tadelakt, either the raw material
or application needs, let me know.
I'm having a hard time getting the word out that i have it and do it. I
imported a container of marrakech lime and it's sitting in storage.
about 10 tons. yikes. maybe you know of some forums that i could post
on to let people in the industry know?? there's an expiration date on
this stuff. i've got about a year and a half to use/sell it. so if you
have any ideas...;-)

Subject: 2 plaster books + some info on tadelakt

Dear plasterheads,

I recently participated in a tadelakt workshop in Morocco and an
italian plasterer who lives in NY told me of these two books. They are
old (and not cheap) but they tell the tale of the old plasterers.
Orazio (the Italian) recommended them higly. Below my writings you find
the information that is on the publishers website. I thought some of
you on this list might be interested (I will certainly buy them).

As for the tadelakt workshop. It was nice! Nice to be on the receiving
end once again. Nice to participate with Antonin, our 5 year old (since
sunday) son and nice to learn to master the tadelakt. Also frustration,
because of the big parts of plaster comming off the wall when making a
wrong move (or better to say an untimely move). Anyway, this is what I
learned:

First of all, it is almost useless to talk about tadelakt, you have to
DO it to understand how to do it because it is all about timing and
making the right moves (sounds like making luv no?). Yes, it is 'just'
lime, but it is all about working it when it has set/dried just enough
and not too much.

Mix the marakech lime with water and pigment, no other additives and no
agregate. <snip>
