Jeff,

I think you will find a siloxane sealer to be more effective than the
product which you referenced.  The product you referenced is more of a
coating than a waterproofing sealer, per se.  

I can't properly address the pros & cons of using a permeable sealer on
interior (bathroom) walls as mine are waterproofed in triplicate due to a
very poor outcome from a previous re-model.  I even considered a complete
encapsulation of the walls with an aliphatic sealer as a method of
preventing water vapor transmission into the walls in the first place.
Although I believe I would look into tadelakt or something along those lines
prior to using aliphatic resins.  

My house is not strawbale, or even alternative construction, but keeping the
water out and providing any (hopefully) minute amount that does get through
a mechanical method of draining is my preference and practice.

You don't mention if this is an outside wall that will experience dramatic
temperature changes or if there will be other factors (insulation,
orientation, etc.) that may play a role in water vapor evacuation.

I have a few sections of interior wall that will be behind my tub and 
shower. I am thinking of sealing the stucco w/"Seal-Krete". It appears 
to meet all the standards except the data sheet on their web site does 
not mention a perm rating. Anyone used it? Does anyone use a permeable 
sealer for their bathrooms? Thanks. Jeff
