[Strawbale] Passive Heating- Continued

Thanks for the detailed replies in the Passive Heating discussion.

I have created my very first website so that I could get some images
through, and clarify the situation I am trying to deal with.

I am starting to get a picture that maybe no auxiliary heating at all will
be needed as long as there will be good insulation, overhangs for summer and
air sealing for the house. In which case the South wall will change back to
SB with some fenestration rather than all double glazing (although, from
some of the replies here I gather that heat loss through a lot of double
glazing is not doing much harm)

Robert, I have looked up the data in my area and it is more like the hotter
areas of Texas. We have 800 HDD/yr, DegC, 222 of them in January. Thanks.

Any advice will be very much appreciated.
