[Strawbale] Forced air heat vs anything else

I personally believe forced air does make more dust. I know my sister has twice the space that I have and half the dust, or maybe all her dust is on the floor rather than spewed all over the house. Still we do live in different houses. A better example would be my parents house which was built (70's) to be passive solar supplemented with electric wall heaters: very little dust! The solar didn't work at all well, and the electric was extremely expensive to use, so my father installed a woodstove, and used that for 15 years: very little dust. About 6 years ago he installed forced air because he was in his late 70's and just couldn't handle the woodstove anymore (anyone need a good woodstove?):lots and lots of dust everywhere. Same house, lots more dust! If I ever build my own house (hopefully straw bale) I may be have to have forced air conditioning, but I will NEVER have forced air heat, because besides the fact that it is highly inefficient compared to almost anything else, it sprays dust and allergens all over the place.
