January 2008 issue (192) of Fine Homebuilding. The article covers cold-water 
surprise effect, drooping-pressure effect, fine-tune the system with a 
tempering valve. Your local library should have a copy or go online to 
FineHomebuilding.com. Another interesting article is in issue 191, Kitchen 
and Bath, "Water Heaters: Tank or Tankless?". Offers pros and cons for both, 
proper sizing, energy efficiency etc.
